JetBlue’s Ethics and Compliance program demonstrates our company’s pledge to the highest level of integrity. Our Code of Conduct is the base of this program.

Our Policies

Our Code of Conduct sets the business, personal, and professional standards we hold ourselves to as an organization. It highlights our Values and is a starting point to help us make the right decisions and resolve ethical or compliance issues we may encounter. 

Building on the foundation of our Code of Conduct we have adopted additional policies that support the Ethics & Compliance program, and offer our crewmembers additional guidance in areas of significant risk to our organization and operation.  Some of these topics are:  

  • Anti-Bribery & Corruption 
  • Insider Trading 
  • Privacy 
  • Related Person Transactions 

Reinforcing Our Policies

JetBlue crewmembers are regularly required to attest to our  Code of Conduct and other compliance policies, and are available online for crewmembers to access.  This reinforces our expectations for ethical behavior in everything we do.   

Training is also provided to help our crewmembers navigate and understand the purpose and application of the Code of Conduct and other policies, their responsibilities as crewmembers, and the consequences for failing to do so.  Training is offered online and in-person when the focus must target specific work groups, levels of leadership, and risk topics.  

Communications are another way crewmembers are informed of the importance of ethical decision making and adherence to policies.  Information is distributed by email, included in the daily corporate communications when requested, or advocated by senior leadership in BlueNotes. 

Business Partner Expectations

JetBlue values the contributions of our business partners and expects our partners to act with integrity and demonstrate a commitment to legal, ethical, safe, fair, and responsible business practices. Our Business Partner Code of Conduct outlines these expectations, and our due diligence program measures a Business Partner’s compliance with laws and ethical standards. JetBlue aims to identify and mitigate risks arising from business relationships with third parties. Business partner due diligence is a component of JetBlue’s Compliance Program aimed at observing applicable anti-bribery & corruption, fraud, asset laundering and terrorism financing laws.

Accountability & Oversight

Our Ethics & Compliance program must continuously evolve to maintain its effectiveness.  Changes in laws and emerging trends are reflected in our policies and trainings, and crewmembers are made aware of these updates in communications, or in certain instances, attestations.  Program updates are also provided to senior leadership and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors regularly.   

JetBlue’s Ethics & Compliance program is managed by the Ethics & Compliance team.  Our Compliance Counsel oversees the program and directly reports to JetBlue’s General Counsel.  This reporting structure aims to provide strong governance throughout the organization and support program changes implemented by the Compliance Counsel.
