In memoriamThe United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is one of the city's best museums. When you enter, you'll be issued an ID card of an actual Holocaust victim; upon your exit you'll learn whether the person on the card survived the Holocaust. The exhibition consists of film footage, audio recordings, photos, and personal belongings, and concludes with a heartbreaking film in which Holocaust survivors tell their stories.
